What is real and true in the age of AI?

Quite a lot, as it turns out. There are many days where I feel like we're all living in a dystopian film. And on others, when I look around me, I feel hopeful for humanity. There is still so much that isn't manipulated and hardened by machines and that we need to celebrate, like:

  • The aliveness of our planet, her constant movement in space-time
  • The ever changing seasons and all that nature gifts us
  • The tactile satisfaction of putting ink on paper
  • Our laughter, our joy, our ennui and our grief
  • Our sense of wonder and curiosity
  • Our pets' and babies' unconditional love for us, however undeserving
  • Faith and the belief in a greater order
  • The human drive to triumph over all odds

What else can we add to the list?
